I often bring home 2-gallon bags of coffee grounds from our neighborhood coffee shop. I spread the coffee grounds on top of the snow around the perennial flower gardens, shrubs, and trees. There seems to be no shortage of coffee grounds so often grab a bag or 2 to bring home.
1. Should I be careful not to over-spread on certain plants?
2. Are there some plants that should not receive any grounds?
3. Are the grounds harmful to my lawn?
