Good question. Pick any tomatoes that have a hint of ripening and bring them indoors. Store unripe fruits at room temperature, one layer deep, spaced apart without touching each other. I like to set them on a layer of newspaper in case one spoils it is easy to see the wet spot. Light is not necessary. Warm temperatures are more important than light in ripening the fruit. Fruit will ripen over the next few weeks. Check them often and eat them as they ripen.
