Is there a local place to have soil composition analyzed? Specifically calcium, phosphate, etc.

Hi Thanks for contacting "ask extension" with your question about local analytical laboratories for soil testing. OSU Soil Health Lab is the local testing facility. They prefer mail in samples but will take drop offs if you contact them first. Here is their website: (Click on "How to Collect and Submit a Soil Sample" for details on drop off.)

You might also consider some additional options. The following labs have soil testing packets specifically for home gardens and are often significantly less expensive. They are mail in only, but the turnaround time is very fast.
