We've had some very hot weather already this spring. The tree pots sitting on the black pavement will heat up the pots containing all the roots. If your trees will not be planted for another month, you must care for them carefully until they are planted. I would move them off of the black pavement. Put them on soil in an area where they might get shade for part of the day. Ensure they are watered regularly to keep them alive. You might add some straw mulch to the top of the pots, or even around the base of the pots to retain the moisture and keep them cool as the weather heats up. Do not use lawn clipping that have had herbicide added to the lawn.
