Arborist referal #930900

I would like to hire and arborist to consult on maintaining and preserving the mature trees on my property. I am hesitant to reach out to tree companies because of what I would perceive to be a misaligned incentive. Is there a list of independent arborists that work in the Harford County area? I reside in Fallston.

Extension doesn't collect this information, but you can try looking up qualified arborists in the American Society of Consulting Arborists database. Consulting arborists may be more likely to be self-employed and not affiliated with or employed by a tree care company which may be biased towards recommending unnecessary procedures or treatments.
