Apple tree care #930654

Asked May 05, 2026, 9:32 AM EDT

Hi we have a few apple trees on our tree we inherited when we bout the property. They are anywhere from 5-10 years old I'm guessing. They're not really fruiting but they do have buds. How do we prune and care for them? Is it too late in the season to prune them?

The following UNH website discusses pruning apple trees although that should be done in March or April : It's Pruning Season

This site discusses diseases and insects to be aware of: Home Fruit Spray Schedule
