Expert Response

Hi, you can let them start sprouting a bit inside then plant after last frost (late May) in deep pots or troughs or in the ground. As they grow leaves upward you will mound soil letting some leaves of the plant exposed to create the underground bed for them to root then grow potatoes. Once you have a good size mound with green plant you can let them in sunshine. Watch for critters digging in if they have access to the spuds.
