Hello. We were hoping to identify the insect/spider associated with the egg cluster attached to the siding of our house in NE Portland. Not sure if we should leave alone or destroy if invasive.

These are egg sacs from one of the ‘True Bag’ family of insects. Many of them are pests of plants which we keep in our garden. I cannot tell you which one it is at this point. If you have had severe damage issue in the past I would consider destroying them.
