What is this ground cover, and is it edible? Thanks!

That is ground ivy slso called Creeping Charlie. It is the mint family but I have never heard of anyone eating it.

Here is some information about using it, in case you are interested. I will likely pull it up, let it dry out, and send it to yard waste.
