How do I get my garden soil tested for needing or not needing fertilizer, and for the presence of toxic chemicals (heavy metals, etc.)?

Thank you for reaching out.
If you go to extension.umn.edu and search for soil testing you’ll find a site that says soil test your lawns. About halfway down that article you’ll find a line in red that will take you to the form and give you instructions as to how you go about a soil test. I hope hope this helps.  The sooner you get this done the quicker you’ll get your results because they get busy in the spring.

Have a great spring!
