Can you tell me if this redbud tree which was thriving three or four days ago and bloomed is a result of the frost two nights ago this tree is planted in Urbana Maryland and was actually purchased from a Nursery in Frederick. Will it revive?

Expert Response
This does look like frost/freeze damage, yes, especially given the timing of the symptoms. There is nothing you can do as injured tissues cannot recover, but if the sapwood under the bark remained undamaged and the roots have enough moisture (keep monitoring the tree for watering needs given the ongoing drought), the tree should eventually produce new growth points and gradually recover. Give it a few weeks and see how it fares.
