There are a lot of insects that attack apples so I don’t know what problem you are dealing with. How old are your trees and how much do they usually fruit?
If didn’t clean up the litter around them last fall, do this now. Many apples pests overwinter in the leaf litter beneath the tree.
You can bag your apples for a better harvest. Be sure to do this early, when the apples are small - 1/2 to 3/4” in diameter.
