This plant sprouted in my garden this spring. It’s probably a volunteer from a dropped seed of something I previously planted, that I can’t remember. It will probably get bigger and possibly (hopefully) bloom but right now, it’s just leaves. Thank for trying to ID it for me.

Plant ID relies heavily on flower traits to separate species with similar-looking leaves. We don't recognize which species this plant is at its current stage of growth. Sometimes plant ID apps can get you close, such as to genus level, with reasonable accuracy, but species-level ID is often less accurate with those tools. Still, we may need to see it blooming before we can narrow-down which species it is. It looks like some plants in the Asteraceae family, but that's a huge group and sometimes unrelated plants can have a similar appearance when not in bloom.
