My cedar is yellowish. Is it just pollen? It also looks a little wilty.

Expert Response

Thank you for your question, Ann.  Unfortunately, we cannot diagnose a plant problem from this distance, and without being able to examine the plant tissue.. Cedars begin to release pollen in March, and are subject to three known diseases:  https://pnwhandbooks.org/plantdisease/host-and-disease-descriptions?title=Cedar%2C+port+orford

I suggest that you take plant samples to either the Clackamas County Extension office (https://extension.oregonstate.edu/clackamas), or the Washington County Extension office (https://extension.oregonstate.edu/washington) so Master Gardeners can examine them.

Good luck!
