Apple sprays #927102

Asked March 30, 2026, 5:03 PM EDT

Good afternoon, I am a “retired” commercial apple grower. I had 150 acres in Addison Vt. For about 20 years. I no longer have my applicators license. My wife has asked that I start spraying some of the apple trees on our property. I am leaning towards the Stihl sr 430 backpack sprayer for applications. I am looking for recommendations on what chemicals to spray (insecticide and fungicide) that would be easy to mix and remain suspended in the tank. I’m going to try and keep it simple, spraying every 7 to 10 days with both a broad-spectrum insecticide and a fungicide for Scab. I do not want to try to do this organically. Can you help?
