Finding someone to prune my overgrown peach tree #926668

Asked March 24, 2026, 2:41 PM EDT

I'm hoping to find/hire someone in the seacoast area who knows how to correctly prune an overgrown peach tree. It's beyond my capabilities now and I'd love some help with it. Thank you!

Thank you for reaching out to the UNH Extension Yard and Garden Infoline. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity for home visits. We do, however, offer several in-person pruning demonstrations, typically from February until April. The best place to look for these workshops along with all our other events is the UNH Extension Events page. If you missed these, or couldn’t attend, we also have several resources available on our website pertaining to pruning:

If you aren’t able to prune trees and shrubs yourself, we recommend contacting a NH Certified Landscape Professional to do the work for you. You can find a list of Certified Landscape Professionals here.

For larger tree work, we recommend contacting a certified arborist. Find a local arborist with the NH Arborists Association list of certified arborists in the state.
