Replacement for nandina #926514

Asked March 22, 2026, 4:16 PM EDT

Hello - I am in the process of removing the nandinas from my landscaping. Can you suggest a good replacement plant? I have attached a photo of the space, next to my garage, that I need to fill. I'd like something that blooms, maybe 3-6 feet in height when mature, possibly evergreen but not required. Thank you for any guidance you can give me.

If you could answer some more questions about the space, it would help make making choices.  It's not clear from the picture how many plants are needed.  Will the low growing plant remain?  Does the area get full sun (over 6 hours of sunlight)?  Does the soil stay moist, or does it dry out?  How many shrubs do you want?   Thanks!
