How do we get rid of an infestation of gnats on our indoor plants. We've been spraying hydrogen peroxide on the soil to kill the eggs but still lots of bugs

Good morning Carla;

Neem Oil is a good product to get rid of gnats.  Clean the leaves of the plant with a mild soapy water first.  Spray the plant with the Neem Oil as well as the top of the soil as you move it around.  They seem to be more active in the evening.    It is an organic approach.  There is also a yellow sticky pad that you can purchase to tie to the plant if possible or stick it directly in the soil.  You will see the gnats stick to the pad.  Isolate those plants that seem to be culprit.  Hope this is helpful.
