I am a Landscape Architect are working on a project is looking to gain information on alternate materials for paths and sidewalks. I’m reaching out to inquire whether you have any parks or public works department has experience using any of the following materials in pedestrian or multi-use paths:
1. Decomposed granite with psyllium husk binder
2. 3/4-inch crushed gravel with pine resin binder
3. 1-1/2-inch crushed recycled concrete
4. Permeable pavement
5. True Grid permeable pavers with asphalt millings
If so, I would greatly appreciate any insights you’re willing to share regarding cost, installation, performance, maintenance, durability, accessibility, or overall user experience. References to specific projects or lessons learned would also be very helpful.
Thank you for your time, and I appreciate any information you can provide.
