How to cook a brisket from cattle. #925441

Is a beef brisket a juicy, tender piece of meat after being cooked? Is a crock pot a good way to cook a brisket? If so, do you have any suggestions on how to use a crock pot to cook a brisket? Should I cover the beef brisket with water? Should I add salt to the water? If a crock pot is not a good way to cook brisket,, is there another way to cook it so it turns out tender and juicy?

Thank you for contacting AnswerLine with your beef brisket questions. 

It is recommended to cook brisket low (temperature and slow (long amount of time) to make this cut more tender for consumption. Cooking on a barbeque or in a slow cooker is recommended.
