March 21 Discussion of Fruit Crops for Community #925333

Asked March 03, 2026, 9:23 AM EST

Hello, I originally spoke to Maxine, who is the contact for our area, about coming to give a talk for our local community seed group in Southern Anne Arundel County. We have a group that meets every third Saturday--it is open to any community members who would like to join. We typically do a hands on activity or have an educational talk. We had asked Maxine about coming to talk about fruit tree plantings, pruning, maintenance and pests. She recommended we focus on "less complicated fruit plants" like figs, grapes, blueberries, etc. We are meeting on Saturday, March 21 from 10-12 at the Captain Avery Museum in Shady Side, MD. Maxine said she was unable to do presentations on Saturdays and asked me to reach out to this main page.
