Thank you so much for reaching out and for your interest in the Healthy Habits summer camp we offered last year. We heard from lots of families how wonderful it was and for some, even transformational for their kids. I truly appreciate your support and the enthusiasm your family brings to our programs.

I’m very sorry to share that we are unable to offer the camp this summer. Due to nationwide budget cuts resulting from H.R.1 and the resulting elimination of the SNAP-Ed program, our funding structure has changed significantly. As part of these reductions, we also had to let go of the staff team who led last summer’s camp. Without both the program funding and the personnel required to run it, we aren’t able to continue the camp this year.

I know this news may be disappointing—especially for families who were looking forward to returning—and I want you to know that we share that disappointment. Our team is actively exploring alternative ways to support youth programming in the future, and if new opportunities arise, we will make sure to share them widely.
