Our HOA would welcome guidance on how best to provide a healthy environment for birds and insects. We would very much like to have an Arboretum specialist speak to our landscape committee about prairie restoration (is controlled burning recommended?), improving water quality in our onsite ponds, maintaining healthy lawns without herbicide and pesticide use (is that possible?) I know this information is available online, but I think that having a speaker present to our group would be more impactful. We currently have a lawn maintenance contract, but would like to know if there are other providers that would offer more environmentally friendly approaches?
