Expert Response

Good Evening,
Looks like ground ivy.  Spring and fall are the best times to treat creeping Charlie, (Glechoma hederacea). Spring when the flowers are in bloom and fall when the plants energy goes back into the root system. Look for products that contain triclopyr (Confront, Chaser, Battleship, Momentum, Weed-B-Gon purple label). Depending on how much creeping Charlie you have, this may have to be applied more than once. Follow all label directions for your safety and the environment.
