Can you help me ID this caterpiller? I took the photo in norther MN.

HI Peter,

This the young caterpillar form of Abbott’s Sphinx moth. The caterpillar changes greatly in appearance before it becomes the moth. If you click on all the photos on the site below you’ll see a photo of what you saw.
