I was wondering what this pant is - it's growing between cracks in a garden wall. It's about 5/7 inches high, no noticeable spines, not stiff at all....

I was wondering what this pant is - it's growing between cracks in a garden wall. It's about 5/7 inches high, no noticeable spines, not stiff at all.. Should I pull it?

Hi David,
I think this is what is sometimes called "viperweed" or "vipergrass"? It's a weed and gets a flower like a daisy - which then becomes puffy, like a dandelion (they are all in the same family). It's one you can pull! It does have a taproot.
