My name is Lucas and together with my colleagues Nathan, Linh, Irina and Andrea, I am doing a course in conflict facilitation and democracy at the Swedish university of agriculture (SLU). In this course we are looking at real world examples of conflicts and so I am writing to you in hopes to find someone to talk to regarding the confederated tribes of warm springs and their land-use rights outside of the reservation in regards to foraging, hunting and fishing. What we are looking for specifically is someone to interview on the subject, so we are not looking to interact with the conflict in any direct way but simply to study and understand it. If you know of any resources we could utilize or anyone we should talk to, please get back to us as soon as possible. We are working on a tight deadline so any help is very much appreciated! Our group is made up of different nationalities, with people from Sweden, Canada, Vietnam, Austria and the US (Oregon) respectively and the course is on a masters-level.
