Expert Response

Hi Shiloh, thank you for using Ask Extension.

Auxins are required to create a rooting agent. The fermentation of brown sugar and yeast produce byproducts of CO₂, B‑vitamins, trace amino acids, and organic acids which can be mild bio stimulants which can be helpful, but they do not replace auxins which are required for root stimulation.
