Turning 80 acres into paradise #924317

I have about 80 acres of a pond and hills and trees around my house and some farm fields that I’d like to improve with a wide variety of plants and trees and shrubs for beauty bugs and wildlife. Looking for any planning and assistance

Thanks for the question and this sounds like you have a wonderful piece of property with some big possibilities. 

Our focus on this platform is answering questions and helping home gardeners with issues related to smaller properties. Your project is beyond the kind of guidance we can give. 

I would suggest you start with your local extension office for some recommendations. Another option is PrairieEnthusiasts.org. they are located in Wisconsin but they have a chapters in  southeastern Minnesota. They are a grass roots community of people helping each other restore native prairies. They may know of  other contacts for you as well.
