Hi, I noticed one of my blueberry bushes is blooming now. I don't think it has done this before.. but winter has been really mild in PDX so far. I don't remember what type it is, possibly Chandler or Toro. Does this mean it won't be fruiting this year since it's blooming this early?

The blueberry crop this summer depends on flower pollination. I’ve seen honey and bumble bees on my crocus so maybe they are on your berry bushes as well? There might be some freezing weather yet this month or in March. What difference that makes to blueberries I’m not sure. As with many crops, the effects from this warm winter will mean a lot of “wait and see”. I hope your berries produce well.
