Canning ground poultry #924057

Can ground poultry be substituted for ground red meat in home canning? I would like to make this with turkey as per the recipe. This is from Kansas State Extension preserve it fresh Jan/Feb 2020. Thank you

Hi Karen!

That recipe looks delicious. And because it is recently from a University Extension office, itʼs fine to follow the recipe and use ground turkey instead of ground beef. They have either tested that recipe for safety, or know itʼs based on a similar tested recipe.
