Mason jar seal #923792

Asked January 20, 2026, 2:37 PM EST

Good Afternoon, At the end of summer, I made some peach jam. All of the jars sealed. I accidentally left them on the kitchen counter during a heat wave. My husband thinks he heard some of the seals pop so he put them all in the refrigerator. When I checked them, none of the seals were broken. Is it possible for a jar to lose its seal and then spontaneously seal again? My husband is very concerned about botulism or any other possible foodborne illness. Please advise. Thank you!
