Thank you for reaching out with your question about nutritional testing for a marine fish or coral food product. OSU Extension does not operate a feed‑testing laboratory, but Oregon State University does have a facility that may be able to help depending on the type of analysis you need.
The OSU Seafood Research & Education Center (Seafood Lab) in Astoria provides laboratory services for food and marine‑related products, including proximate analysis (protein, fat, moisture, ash) and other compositional testing commonly used in product development.
You can learn more about their facility and services here:
OSU Seafood Research & Education Center

For questions about testing capabilities, pricing, and sample submission, you can contact the lab directly:
OSU Seafood Lab
2001 Marine Drive, Suite 253
Astoria, OR 97103
Phone: 503‑325‑4531
Website:

They will be able to tell you which analyses they can run, what the charges are, and how the submission process works.
If your product requires more specialized aquaculture feed testing (such as amino acid profiles, fatty acid profiles, or digestibility studies), the Seafood Lab may refer you to a commercial analytical lab or another university facility that specializes in aquaculture nutrition.
