Reusable, easy, at-home soil test kit #923610

Hello, Is there a good, reusable, at-home soil test kit? We are a library looking to add a test kit to loan to our patrons through our Library of Things. Would love any advice you could offer. Thanks so much, Traci

Hi Traci,

Thank you for contacting the UNH Extension Yard and Garden Infoline with your question about soil test kits.  I have included links to fact sheets that discuss why test kits are not as useful as having soil tested by a lab.

You should also be aware that a test kit is not reusable.  

I have included a link to the UNH Extension soil testing lab webpage.  You may wish to share the link with your patrons.  The fee for a standard garden soil test is $20.00.
