Expert Response

Hello
Lime should be applied in the amount specified by your soil test in spring or fall. I looked up your tests and they indicate a vegetable garden. You can apply the whole amount of lime to you bare soil in spring before planting and till it in to a depth of 6 inches.
Your MSU soil test is good for three seasons. Unless your test specifically said to re-test sooner, you can use the application amounts for the next 3 seasons, then test your soil again.
Thank you so much
