Hi Deane,
Without knowing if your applesauce is pure apple juice or very watery applesauce, I can only offer information regarding a problem that can occur when canning applesauce.
Watery applesauce is common due to separation of the liquid from the pulp, and is often the result of to much water added during the cooking process.
Watery home canned applesauce should be safe to consume if you processed according to research-recipe guidelines and they sealed.
