Hi, Is this a good time of year to trim back azaleas? Thanks

Trimming spring blooming shrubs like azaleas in the winter means the flower buds are removed, so wait for the flowers to finish. Clipping now won’t hurt the plant though. Major pruning, called renovation, considerations are a bit different and winter is fine, since it will likely be a year or more of regrowth before the plant flowers anyhow.
