I am a registered trainer and have multiple sites. I read somewhere that a person at each site can be over registered applicators at their site but do not need to be a registered trainer. As long as I administer the registered training these site leaders can monitor the registered applicators once they pass their Core.

I reached out to Lauren Gott, Pesticide Certification Specialist at MDARD, and she said that approved registered applicator trainers can train applicators at other locations. Registered applicators are supervised by certified applicators, but they don't necessarily need to be approved trainers to do so. If the supervisor is planning on conducting training, they would need to be approved by MDARD first.
