Asked December 12, 2025, 4:20 PM EST

Hello, I found this beetle while I was out yesterday and I wanted to know if was an invasive species. When I looked it up on Google it said this particular type of scarab beetle typically come from other countries like Bolivia, but I wanted to see what you thought. Is this scarab beetle invasive? I found it dead on a bench in Elkton, Lane County, at the City of Elkton Alfred S Tyson Park. I don't know where it came it from. I did pick it up in a bag and still have it.

Douglas County Oregon
