Here is some information from the Washington State Tree Fruit site that should be helpful - https://treefruit.wsu.edu/web-article/pear-pollination/
It notes that Comice may set large crops of parthenocarphic fruit (unfertilized). However you can't depend on that happening every season. Recommend that you plant one or more of the recommended pollinator varieties with overlapping bloom times (like Bosc or Seckel) to facilitate better fruit yields. They can all help pollinate each other.
