I need a location on a healthy Monkey Puzzle tree I can visit to see how their habits #922612

I am enrolled in a class on colored pencils and watercolor to depict plants and trees through Oregon Society of Artists and am discovering numerous rare and spectacular botanicals near me in Forest heights. I passed a Monkey Puzzle tree near SW 107th and Cedar Hills Blvd a few weeks back and wanted to go back and photograph today but realized that it wasn’t where I remembered. Do you happen to know where that tree actually is? Perhaps I’ll look on the signaled street immediately to the West of that the next time I’m in the area. Or, the location of an alternate Monkey Puzzle tree would be great too. Since discovering our wealth in large, beautiful and unusual trees in this area I’m suddenly feeling moved to tour their location, and feel my gratitude for their roll in our lives. I would like help. Do you have any recommendations? Meanwhile, I am happy to share my findings with an aspect of Or Master Gardeners to help us document and tour what is already the best we have.

Hi Randi, Thank you for using Ask Extension.
that location isn't in my neighborhood, but I did check the Hoyt Arboretum plant database and it appears that a monkey puzzle tree is part of the collection. In fact, it looks like there are at least two instances in the arboretum Araucaria araucana - Monkey Puzzle | Hoyt Arboretum, Portland, Oregon, USA
