Popcorn plants at ARB. #922605

This is a question for the person who plants the popcorn plants out at the ARB. We planted some this past season and one branched out and the others grew like a palm tree. None of them looked like the ones out at the ARB. What do you do to make them shorter and fuller. Do you pinch them back when planting them? Are there different types? Thank you for your help.

I have not received an answer to my question...
I saw the popcorn plants in the sensory area of the ARB this past summer.
I have planted these in the past and they do not look like the ones at the ARB.
Do you pinch them back to keep the foliage low and full with the flower stalks rising above the plant? Please let me know soon, I have purchased some for this next season.

You must have missed my response  in December.  It is not a question we can answer on this forum.  I am once again giving you the phone number at the ARB.  You can explain your question to them and they can direct you to the proper personnel.
