tiny bugs in our house #922446

Good day, We have been dealing with very small bugs of some sort in our house, that we have not experienced before. Especially this time of year. Occasionally they bite, which is irritating. I am wondering if they are no-see-ums. In any event, have you had other people report this problem and do you have a recommendation as to how to get rid of them without using caustic chemicals? There are so many possibilities. 
Bed bugs are common.
Carpet bugs. 
Some are associated with pets that go outside.
Lice, if you have kids. 
Scabies.
