To remove moss, first, use a stiff brush or scraper to physically remove the bulk of it from a dry roof or walkway. Next, apply a solution like a 50/50 vinegar and water mix, a commercial moss killer, or a solution of oxygen bleach and water to kill the remaining moss and spores. After letting the solution sit, scrub again if needed and rinse thoroughly, using gentle pressure on roofs to avoid damaging shingles.
