That is not a brown recluse. It is a type of funnel weaver spider (Family Agelenidae). Brown recluses are extremely rare in CO, with their sightings usually being due to individuals that hitchhiked into CO from furniture brought in from out of state.
Funnel weavers are harmless spiders. They are not aggressive and their venom is mild. Spiders and other arthropods usually invade through unsealed gaps along doors, vents, windows, electrical sockets, etc. Trying sealing these gaps with caulk. These gaps are made apparent in winter from the cold air seeping through them.
