my snake plants leave do not stay straight. The picture attached shows one leaves falling down, but more would be Dow if not supported. What should I do?

It's hard to determine why they are not self-supporting, but if the plant has insufficient light or is over-fertilized with nitrogen, that's often a cause of flopping for many species. While Snake Plant can tolerate low light, it needs brighter conditions to truly thrive and look its best. Make sure it's in front of a partially-sunny window (especially since fall and winter sun is much less intense than summer sun) or given supplemental light from a plant grow light. You could also inquire with the U.S. Botanic Garden (granted, they might not respond until funded again) to see if they have more experience with this problem. For now, any flopping leaves won't become upright again on their own, so they'll need to be supported with stakes or a support ring staked into the pot.
