Expert Response

The plant appears to be in the grass family (Poaceae), and while traits we cannot see are needed to confirm ID, its overall structure and growth habit suggest Bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon), which is a non-native/invasive weed in lawns and garden beds. As a perennial that roots as it creeps along, it can be hard to remove an established patch of Bermudagrass without resorting to herbicide or having to dig the entire plant out (possibly repeatedly, as missed rhizome pieces can regrow).
