Hello!
You have a few wasps on this pear. The largest on the bottom of the photo is a European Hornet.
The black wasp at the top left that is half hidden by a leaf is a Bald Faced Hornet.
The smallest on the right of the photos is a yellow jacket.
These are common visitors to fruit trees, especially rotting fruit.
Here is a factsheet on European hornets: https://ohioline.osu.edu/factsheet/ent-0102
and here is a factsheet about wasps/hornets in orchards. https://fruit.wisc.edu/2020/09/03/scouting-report-wasps-are-picking-up/
Feel free to reach out if you have further questions. Or you may call the OSU Extension Office in Medina County at<personal data hidden>.
