Apple trees, residential #918653

After reading about the First Kiss and Rave apples (same apple, different names?), I wanted to find out if any of your fruit trees - specifically apples at the moment - generate heritage quality seeds, what trees are available for growing at home, where in the Twin Cities the trees can be obtained, and a website or any additional information. I think trees might be a great gift to give to family and friends. Thank you

Rave, First Kiss, and MN55 are three names for the same apple variety developed by the University of Minnesota. This variety will not be available to home gardeners until 2034.

Many other apple varieties developed and introduced by the University of Minnesota can be grown by home gardeners.

Most of these varieties are available for sale at retail garden centers and online sources.
