Hi - We moved into this house a few years ago and we have a cherry tree that didn't fruit the first year we were year but has fruited that past two years. I am wondering what type of cherry tree it is and if the cherries are safe to eat (we have a 2 year old who runs around the yard).

Hi Riyaz,
I'm not able to provide the name of the tree...there are so many different cultivars available. It's likely a tart cherry, so while edible, the fruits might make you pucker!
